FAQs
Do You Accept My Insurance?
We are a cash-based, out of network provider. This means we do not bill your insurance for our services. However, you can opt to request a superbill from us to submit to your insurance provider for potential partial reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits.
Do I Need A Doctor’s Referral?
At Resolve PT, we have Direct Access which allows you to be seen without a Physician’s referral for 30 days. After 30 days, we would require a physician’s referral or sign off for physical therapy.
Can I Get A Good Faith Estimate?
If you do not have health insurance or plan to self-pay for our services and do not plan to file a claim with your insurance, we will provide you with a “Good Faith Estimate” of our costs when you schedule at least 3 days in advance. If you would like to request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling, please email us at deborah@resolveptpgh.com or submit an inquiry
Why Do You Not Accept My Insurance?
Insurance reimbursement for physical therapy consistently declines and insurance companies set limitations on physical therapy visits and the care we can provide.
With an out-of-network model, we can focus our full attention on YOU, often decreasing the frequency of appointments. This approach typically results in a shorter recovery period and overall cost savings. In short, we focus on quality versus quantity.
